2. What is the size of the gasket like diameter?

3. Is CAT 1R-0750 a diesel filter or a hydraulic fluid filter? Also, is this equivalent and interchangeable with cat part# 1p-2299?
It is a diesel fuel filter. A CAT 1R-0750 is a 2-micron filter, while a CAT 1P-2299 is a 6 micron.

4. What is the difference between this 1R-0750 vs 1R-0751?
The 1R0750 has a 1-inch thread port. The 1R0751 has a 7/8 inch thread port.

5. This filter still separates water correct?
Yes just doesn't have a drain on it. I use it in conjunction with an air dog system that has a water fuel separator and emulsification filter and it filters down to two microns.
