Whitmore Legacy EP 2 Drum Greases

Nowhere is grease pumpability more important than on mining machines such as draglines and shovels. The lubrication lines are long, the temperature can drop to deep freeze conditions, and in many parts of the world the machines don’t stop in cold weather.

Legacy EP will pump to the boom point sheave bearing in the bitterest winter conditions. The thickener, synthetic oil and polymer in Legacy EP have been selected with ease of pumping in mind, yet without sacrificing performance in summer conditions. This is an ideal high-performance multi-purpose grease.

Legacy EP is also highly recommended for use in electric motor bearings that are subjected to widely varying temperatures, especially low temperatures.

APPLICATIONS:

Legacy EP has been designed for use on mining equipment and electric motors where low temperature pumpability and performance are important. It is also suitable for use in high speed bearings up to DN speed 500,000.
