PETRO-TAPE NICKEL is a thick, premium-density tape that permits quick, clean sealing of threaded pipe connections. Its PTFE base provides natural lubrication of the joint, while its nickel filler prevents galling of the threads which is common in stainless steel assemblies. PETRO-TAPE NICKEL is ≥4-mil thick and contains a gray pigment for easy identification, and distinguishes it from lower density, general purpose thread sealant tapes. HEAVY DUTY - IDEAL FOR MULTIPURPOSE CONNECTIONS, SPECIALLY STAINLESS STEEL.

PETRO-TAPE NICKEL is easy, quick and clean to use. Just wrap one turn of tape around the pipe, stretch it to break and join. There is no need to wait. Once assembled the joints are immediately ready for pressure testing or service. Future disassembly is quick and easy. It will not drip, run or dry out. It is ready for instant use, now or years from now, as it keeps its protective qualities indefinitely.
